Refund Policy

At ML Construction and Remodeling Company, we strive to provide exceptional construction, remodeling, and cleaning services. Due to the nature of our work, this Refund Policy outlines when and how refunds may apply.

1. Deposits

All deposits are non-refundable, unless otherwise stated in a signed contract.
Deposits are used to secure scheduling, cover administrative costs, and purchase materials.
If a project is cancelled by the client after the deposit is paid, the deposit will not be refunded.

2. Project Cancellation by Client

If a client cancels after work has begun:

The client is responsible for all labor, materials, and expenses incurred up to the cancellation date.
No refunds will be issued for completed work or custom-ordered materials.
If the client paid in advance, any refundable balance (after deductions) will be processed within 10 business days.

3. Project Cancellation by ML Construction

If we are forced to cancel a project due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g., extreme weather, supplier issues, or permit restrictions), we will:

Attempt to reschedule the project or
Provide a partial refund of unused funds, minus materials ordered and labor completed.

4. Unsatisfactory Work

We stand behind our craftsmanship. If you are not satisfied:

Please contact us within 7 days of project completion.
We will evaluate the concern and offer to correct the issue at no additional cost, if it's within the scope of the original agreement.
Refunds will only be issued in extreme cases where correction is not possible and at our sole discretion.

5. Custom Orders and Materials

Custom or special-order materials are non-refundable once ordered.
If a client changes their mind after materials are ordered, they are still responsible for the full cost.

7. Policy Updates

We reserve the right to update this Refund Policy. Any changes will be posted on our website with the updated effective date.
